Tonight I went running with The Tri Club - and try I did!
After an initial warm-up followed by dynamic drills we did some "hill drills" before finishing with some fartleks!
At the time it felt like hell and despite trying my best I failed to keep up but afterwards I felt like I had conquered the world! So I suppose I must be getting something out of it and not just humiliation! I would never push myself to this extreme on my own so it's worth it!
Thankfully by the time I had done the cool down stretches my breathing had returned to normal and I didn't feel quite like I was going to die as much!
We did 3.76 very hard and very fast (at times) miles!
