Eventually at around 4pm I decided I had done enough and it was time to reward (punish further!) myself with a run! It was cold and windy and I felt extremely slow, fat and unfit! Perhaps the junk food and alcohol diet needs to go! Anyhow I did it - with gritted teeth!

Am I the only person who looks at the plotted map after a run and tries to make the shape into something? Today's run (in my opinion!) looks like a Great White Shark! Can anyone else see the resemblance or have I worked with kids too long? My family just shake their heads whenever I start the sentence "Today's map looks like a ....!". I get a very strange sense of satisfaction if my run produces a good image - weird I know!!

HA! Yes, I can see the shark plain as day. Working with children keeps us young & straightforward -- both excellent qualities for adults to maintain, I find. Good job on the running, too :-)
