Janathon - DAY 7,

Well, what a busy day I've had!  This morning I had to do an emergency dash into town to buy birthday presents, cards, wrapping paper etc. for my daughter's 16th Birthday tomorrow - yup I know, not very organised but its too close to Christmas to be organised!  Bad planning on my part giving birth in January!

Came home and of course had to wrap what I'd bought, then tidy the house!!  In hindsight this was probably a silly idea as she is having a house party tonight with approximately 30 friends, but she does have some posh friends and I don't want to show her up! lol  Anyhow presents bought and wrapped, house cleaned and birthday decorations in place, party food and drink at the ready so at last ... ME time!


Of course it was raining yet again, but thankfully today it was just a drizzle and an added bonus was I managed to get out before it got dark!  This doesn't happen very often at the moment, but then again if you ask my delightful children they will say I should only be allowed out in the dark when I'm wearing the winter hat I wear to run in!!


I was aiming for a comfortable pace shortish run and enjoyed being out, however after about 2 miles I appeared to develop an Achilles strain on my right foot.  When I got home I stretched and iced it and fingers crossed it won't develop into anything major!  


Anyway, guests will be arriving soon, me and my husband are homeless for the evening (can't have embarrassing parents present!), but we aren't going far - just to neighbours, so I will have to say farewell for now.  I hope I manage to run tomorrow with a sore Achilles and no doubt a hangover!
